two today!

a beautiful day, and my little girl could not have a more cheerful mood. from the moment she awoke, it was as if she knew it was a special day - Her Birthday.
we (her grandma and i) were on the bed, just discussing the agenda for the day and talking bout making a princess cake for her. she turned over and said, "Clown Cake!" so i guess we had to change the design to a clown cake. she wanted one of Jojo, the clown. anyways, somehow she also mentioned wanting a pink cake, so the final wish was for a pink Jojo cake. of course, by the time we found the recipe etc, it was a choc cake with Jojo's face on it... hopefully there is some resemblance.
in the end, i made a chocolate base cake and a pink cone (a clown tent) cake with a lot of clowns heads... but not Jojo. hope it's ok...
been baking so much tho... wonder if this is the mom-ness kicking in after two years... :)
anyways, this year was a quieter celebration compared to the BIG ONE... hahah but was pleasant nonetheless... mostly messages and mails and calls, but it just showed how loved she was.

calls came streaming in, and poor Vanora had the hardest time talking to some many people in one day! by the end of the day she didn't want to talk on the phone anymore! being a ggod sport tho, she managed a "bubye!" and passing the phone to soemone else, say "your call!"

but the whole weekend was just Vanora's birthday weekend. it was good... i hope she enjoyed it lots.

oh ya as for presents, she got a rocking horse from ammama pati and fona, and nice story books from grandma. mommy didn't give her anything though... hahah just spent the whole week with her. i think she would rather have that than anything else. after all wat do you give a girl who has everything?

she's got a play house, a wading pool, a car, a tractor, and now a horse... wow... wat a life! :)
